Harry Dean Stanton has nearly 200 imdb credits to his name, stretching all the way back to 1954. He's given countless amazing performances and worked with everyone, from Alfred Hitchcock to Joss Whedon, but he's never won an award that's worth a damn. Vidiots aims to fix this, by awarding him with the first ever Harry Dean Stanton Award, on October 23rd, in L.A. In preparation, we're going to dedicate several episodes over the next two months to the varied and impressive filmography of one of Hollywood's most enduring and endearing fixtures, Mr. Harry Dean Stanton! First up, two from 1984: Wim Wender's PARIS, TEXAS and Alex Cox's REPO MAN. Vidiots Executive Director Maggie Mackay joins us to discuss these two incredible films and give the lowdown on the upcoming #HDSAward tribute ceremony.
